Good news for the reintroduction of this endangered species. The wild birth of two new Iberian lynx litters in the Montes de Toledo have been confirmed.
In this case the mothers have been Kea, born in the year 2013 and coming from the center of breeding of Bramble of Granadilla (Cáceres) that was liberated in the zone in January of 2014, and Lila, born in the year 2014 and coming from the center of breeding of Silves (Portugal) and liberated in June of 2015. Both females have been spotted with litters of three cubs respectively.
These litters, added to those previously located, add a total of fourteen puppies born this year, confirming good expectations of reintroduction in the area.
